Original IPA (Isopropyl Alcohol) used in offset printing systems. It is a pure product that can be used safely in the automatic fountain solution preparation systems of all offset printing presses. Its general physical and chemical properties correspond to original pure Isopropyl Alcohol values. Offset alcohol used at normal values reduces the surface tension of the water, allowing it to spread quickly; thanks to its volatility, it helps the water in the ink-water mixture to be expelled (dried) rapidly. However, since it is a solvent, it is necessary not to exceed a certain percentage in usage rates (4-8%). Increasing the alcohol to high levels can disrupt the structure of the ink, causing it to emulsify with more water in the ink-water mixture.
