Properties: Soluble in water, ethanol, acetone, acetic acid, glycerin, pyridine, aldehydes, slightly soluble in ether, insoluble in fats and hydrocarbons. Stable even at low viscosities.
Applications: Used in many different areas. A raw material used in production of polyester fiber, yarn, PET resin, surface coatings, alkyd and unsaturated polyester. Used as antifreeze in automotive sector.
